An Introduction To The All New Defender

The New Land Rover Defender combines the iconic design, which dates back to the Series 1 released in 1948, with the same ‘go anywhere’ practicality. The difference today is that you get to choose the Defender to suit your exact needs.

There are nine different exterior styles to choose from including Hard Top, Single Cab Pick Up or Double Cab Pick Up depending on your goods/people carrying requirements. The Land Rover Defender also comes with a choice of 3 wheelbase lengths; 90, 110 and 130.

Driving Ability

The Defender remains the choice work vehicle because of its excellent driving performance no matter what the terrain. Permanent four wheel drive, coil sprung suspension and easy ground clearance is what gives the Defender agility and it even wades up to a depth of 500mm. Through mud or over rocks you can be confident of the Defender’s driving ability.

Practical Interior

The Defender comes with between 2 and 9 seats depending on the model. This is combined with 60:40 split or individual seat fold down to give load versatility and varying combinations of passengers and goods.

Towing & Carrying

The Defender is capable of towing or winching a massive 3500kg and offers uncompromising traction and grip ensuring that under pressure the Defender always remains surefooted. The Defender is also capable of carrying up to 1600kg and can hold a variety of loads, ideal for transporting tools and goods.

Comfortable Drive

The practical interior does not mean a compromise in style or comfort. Despite being the workhorse of the Land Rover range, the Defender comes with the latest in car audio systems and an optional heated windscreen and front seats.

The exterior of the Defender has been designed with work in mind, combining simplicity and robust build quality for practicality. The Defender also comes with a variety of cab size and pick up options depending on your chosen chassis length.
